Level 3 Pacific Studies - Pacific Representation & Story-telling through Film & Music

Course Description

This Semester course will follow on from Level 1 & 2 Pacific Studies with more in-depth exploration of Pacific story-telling and representation through film, music video and podcast. Upon learning this, it will enable us to remember who we are as Pacific peoples, where we come from and what our future may hold. Pacific peoples have always been story-tellers and we will do this through pod-cast and speaking, which follows on from Semester 1. The learning that will take place in this course is in preparation for the TWO INTERNAL Assessments that you will be sitting during the Semester. There is no external (no exams) 

Recommended Prior Learning

A keen interest in Pacific Studies!

It would be beneficial if you have also taken the Semester 1 - 3PACA course.

8+ credits in Level 2 Pacific Studies or Approval of HOD Social Science,

Students also must have a good level of Literacy (as there is a lot of Research, Reading & Writing).
