Course Description

Students will research art making traditions and influences on recent Painting and/or Printmaking practice. Developing appropriate skills to generate, analyse and clarify students’ own ideas and gain an understanding of using mediums, processes and approaches relevant to Painting or Printmaking in order to create original artwork. Students are required to produce a folio submission for the external component of the course. This subject allows opportunity for course endorsement. UE Approved: YES

L2 Visual Art is recommended. Acceptance on the course is at the Head of Department’s discretion.
