Course Description

Course Outline: This course is designed for candidates with a very good background and ability in Mathematics. Some will study the subject because they have a genuine interest in it and enjoy meeting the challenges and problems it provides; others will study the subject because they need a high level of Mathematics for future studies in Mathematics, Physics, or Technology at tertiary level.  It is also an excellent course for those simply wishing to gain further Mathematics skills at Level 3.

Students must have at least 14 credits from Level 2 Mathematics, including the Level 1 External Achievement Standard, and preferably with at least a Merit endorsement in Level 2 Mathematics.
