Course Description

Come and learn the traditional Māori art form of Taniko. "Taniko" refers to a traditional Māori weaving technique characterized by intricate patterns and designs, often used in creating garments and decorative items rich in cultural significance and symbolism. Patterns generated can then be used to adorn clothing as print, and lattice patterns woven for traditional Māori garments and house ornaments. No previous experience needed. Nau mai, haere mai!
