Introduction to Level 3 Photography
Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Miss K. Lobb.
This course is for students who are leaning towards a career in the creative industries and would like more time developing skills in Photography. This course will be student-led with students able to choose from a variety of photographic processes and themes to develop artworks.
Students will have opportunities to research art making traditions and influences on recent Photography practice. Developing appropriate skills to generate, analyse and clarify students’ own ideas and gain an understanding of using mediums, processes and approaches relevant to Photography in order to create original art work.
You MUST of taken L2 Photography to take this course. We recommend taking this course for the whole year to gain maximum credits, as the 'extension' course offers the folio which is 14 credits.
If you have not taken Level 2 Photography, you can submit a portfolio of your some of your photography to Miss Lobb for consideration to be accepted onto this course.
Recommended Prior Learning
L2 Photography is recommended. Acceptance on the course is at the Head of Department’s discretion.
