Course Description

This Semester course examines Historical concepts and perspectives using case studies from New Zealand and/or around the globe. The learning that will take place in this course is in preparation for the TWO EXTERNAL Assessments that you will be sitting at the end of the Semester.

NOTE:  BOTH of the External assessments offered in this course are co-requisite standards (worth 5 credits each) that can count towards your 'Literacy' credits.

Recommended Prior Learning

Requirements for Level 1 History: 

It would be beneficial if you have also taken the Semester 1 - 1HISN course.

OR...

An interest in History and a good level of Literacy (as there is a lot of Research, Reading & Writing).
