Level 2 Chemistry - Structure, Bonding and Reactivity
Course Description
Teacher in Charge:
Chemistry involves the study of matter and the changes it undergoes. In their study of chemistry, students develop an understanding of the composition and properties of matter, the changes it undergoes, and the energy involved. They can use their understanding of the fundamental properties of chemistry to make sense of the world around them. This second-semester course consists of two Achievement Standards which are externally assessed only. The topics covered require students to demonstrate an understanding of bonding, structure, properties, and energy changes as well as chemical reactivity.
