Course Description

Teacher in Charge:

This course will allow you to build a foundation of knowledge on various NZ health issues, including beliefs, values and attitudes, personal and interpersonal factors and people's ability to manage change. In class, you will also gain skills about self-care and its impact on the four dimensions of your well-being. Students will be required to attend a 2-day camp in Tawharanui, where you will focus on self-management and self-efficacy in an outdoor environment. Students will also be expected to complete a first aid course.
