Level 2 Physics - Mechanics and Electricity

Course Description

Teacher in Charge:

Physics provides explanations for a wide range of physical phenomena, including light, sound, heat, electricity, magnetism, waves, forces, and motion, united by the concept of energy, which is transformed from one form to another without loss. This course is designed to build foundational knowledge in mechanics, electricity, and electromagnetism and is useful for students interested in entering science, engineering, and medical career pathways.

Recommended Prior Learning

12 Credits Level 1 Science and 12 Credits Level 1 Mathematics.

Preference will be given to students who participated in the Level 1 Science External: AS 90940 - Demonstrate understanding of aspects of mechanics.
