Level 2 Samoan - Samoan History & External

Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Ms J. Lauaki.

In this Semester, you will be introduced into some important events in the history of Samoa (pre-independence era) such as 'The Mau Movement' in Samoa.  We will look at key historical figures who fought bravely for Samoa's independence.  There will be a day trip planned to assist students with one of the assessments offered.

Recommended Prior Learning

Requirements for Level 2 Samoan: 

It would be beneficial if you have also taken the Semester 1 - 2SMAC course.

Have taken 1SMA or have a good grasp of the Samoan Language / culture or Approval of HOD Languages.

Students must also be willing to give speeches, participate in performance and contribute to class discussions.
