Level 3 Sports Leadership (Outdoor Ed) - Semester 1

Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Mr S. Dowsett.

The purpose of this course is to provide opportunities for students to participate in regular activities, encounter new experiences and develop leadership skills. The first semester of Sports Leadership will focus on Learning through Adventure and Outdoor Education, culminating in a camp at Hillary Outdoors Tongariro. The largely practical component of this course allows students the opportunity to reflect on their leadership learning within a real-world context and offers an exciting insight and pathway into the sports and recreation industry.
