Level 3 Samoan - Samoan History

Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Ms J. Lauaki.

In this Semester course, students will be able to learn about some of the historical events to Samoa. In developing their language, students will learn the topics such as Mau Movement, Mau a Samoa and Samoa's Independence. Assessments will also be based on students justifying and demonstrating ideas towards these topics.

Recommended Prior Learning

Have taken 2SMAC / 2SMAE2 or have a good grasp of the Samoan Language / culture or Approval of HOD Languages.

Students must also be willing to give speeches, participate in performance and contribute to class discussions.
