Breaking the News: Level 2 English

Course Description

Do you care what's happening in the news? Are there news stories and issues that get you fired up? Are there things that you wish you’d hear talked about more? In this course, we will explore ethical issues in the media and in the news, get familiar with current events, and understand every side to the ethical and moral issues that surround our everyday lives. You’ll get the chance to delve into an ethical issue you care about and voice your opinions on what matters to you in the form of debate or podcast! 

Note - If you take this course, you will have the opportunity to gain NCEA credits in both English and Media Studies.
