Course Description

This Semester course examines Social Action case studies from New Zealand and/or around the globe. The learning that will take place in this course is in preparation for the TWO EXTERNAL Assessments that you will be sitting in Semester 2. ONE Internally assessed External Assessment (Digital Submission) and ONE External Exam at the end of the Semester.

Recommended Prior Learning

Requirements for Level 1 Social Studies: 

It would be beneficial if you have also taken the Semester 1 - 1SOSA course.

OR...

An interest in Social Studies and a good level of Literacy (as there is a lot of Research, Reading & Writing).
