Level 3 Geography - Natural & Cultural Processes

Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Ms J. Lauaki.

This Semester 2 course offers a wide range of skills and knowledge in Geography and the Social Sciences.  You will be looking at how interacting natural processes shape a New Zealand geographic environment, as well as how cultural processes shape Geographic Environments.  The learning for this course is in preparation for the TWO External assessments at the end of the Semester. 

Recommended Prior Learning

Requirements for Level 3 Geography: 

It would be beneficial if you have also taken the Semester 1 - 3GEOA course.

Level 2 Geography, Level 2 Social Studies, Level 2 History or Approval of HOD Social Science.

This is a Literacy heavy, academic course.  Students must have a high level of Literacy skill to succeed in this course.
