Breaking the News: Level 2 English

Course Description

Teacher in Charge:

Do you care what's happening in the news? Are there news stories and issues that get you fired up? Are there things that you wish you’d hear talked about more? In this course, we will explore ethical issues in the media and in the news, get familiar with current events, and understand every side to the ethical and moral issues that surround our everyday lives. You’ll get the chance to delve into an ethical issue you care about, and voice your opinions on what matters to you! 

Note - The context of this course is the same as Semester 1, however, you will be completing different standards. This means you CAN take this course in both Semester 1 and 2, and by doing so you will develop an even deeper understanding of the context.
