Course Description

This is an introduction to Geography and its basic skills and concepts. In this Semester, students will learn how people interact with their natural and cultural environments through studies of population concepts, sustainability and the effects of extreme natural events.  

NOTE: 

- The first Internal assessment is a co-requisite standard (worth 5 credits) that can count towards your 'Literacy' credits.

- The second Internal assessment is a co-requisite standard (worth 5 credits) that can count towards your 'Numeracy' credits.

Recommended Prior Learning

It would be beneficial if you have a keen interest in Geography.

Students also must have a good level of Literacy (as there is a lot of Research, Reading & Writing)
