Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Miss C. Parker.

This course will allow you to build a foundation of knowledge on various NZ health issues, including beliefs, values and attitudes, personal and interpersonal factors and people's ability to manage change. In class, you will also gain skills about self-care and its impact on the four dimensions of your well-being. Student's will get projects for health promotional learning in school or in the community. This will also require them to go on trips and experience community involvement as part of their assessments. Students will also be expected to complete a first aid course.
