Level 2 Pacific Studies - Pacific Story-telling: Our Stories Are Within Us
Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Ms J. Lauaki.
Pacific peoples have always been story-tellers. This Semester course will be focused on Pacific-Storytelling, speaking our truths and realities through writing and speaking. This will be a mixture of Pacific creative story-piece and Pacific song lyric analysis. This is worth x6 University writing credits needed for University. The learning that will take place in this course is in preparation for the TWO INTERNAL Assessments that you will be sitting during the Semester. There is no external examinations for this course.
Recommended Prior Learning
A keen interest in Pacific Studies!
It would be beneficial if you have also taken the Semester 1 - 2PACA course.
8+ credits in Level 1 Pacific Studies, L1 Social Studies or Level 1 Literacy (10 credits) or Approval of HOD Social Science,
Students also must have a good level of Literacy (as there is a lot of Research, Reading & Writing)
