Explore the Sounds of Music!
Take a journey through the beats and rhythms that have shaped music around the world. In this course, you’ll learn how music from the past has influenced the tunes we love today. You'll get the chance to perform or create your own music inspired by both old and new sounds. This class will help you build your musical skills while also connecting you to the history and culture of music. It's the perfect way to get better at what you love and become a leader in the arts!
NOTE:
An external may also be offered for students wishing to gain endorsement, however, it is recommended that both Semesters of Music are taken for students to develop their knowledge in order to do this exam.
Additionally, for students wishing to focus on a high level of solo performance skills, it is recommended that students take both Semesters to attain the level of skills require and receive enough Itinerant tuition.
