Level 3 Samoan - Aganu'u Samoa w/ External
Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Ms J. Lauaki.
In this Semester, students will be learning about some of the significant culture or aganu'u in the Fa'a Samoa. Topics will include roles and responsibilities of taule'ale'a and tamaitai Samoa in a tautua setting and introducing them basic speeches (lauga), folafolaga o sua and sultoga.
Recommended Prior Learning
Have taken 2SMAA / 2SMA2 or 3SMAA (Semester 1 course) or have a good grasp of the Samoan Language / culture or Approval of HOD Languages.
Students must also be willing to give speeches, participate in performance and contribute to class discussions.
Credit Information
You will be assessed in this course through all or a selection of the standards listed below.
