Recommended Prior LearningRequirements for Level 2 Samoan:
It would be beneficial if you have also taken the Semester 1 - 2SMAA course.
Have taken 1SMA or have a good grasp of the Samoan Language / culture or Approval of HOD Languages.
Students must also be willing to give speeches, participate in performance and contribute to class discussions.
In this Semester, you will be introduced into some important events in the history of Samoa (pre-independence era) such as 'The Mau Movement' in Samoa. We will look at key historical figures who fought bravely for Samoa's independence. There will be a day trip planned to assist students with one of the assessments offered.
