1DTE1 Course DescriptionTeacher in Charge: Mrs K. Venketiah.
Recommended Prior LearningThe course is an open entry, though preference will be given to students who have taken Digital Technology in Year 10.
1DTE1 is offered in both semesters. If students have done it in Semester 1, they should not choose it in Semester 2 as the content will be the same as Semester 1.
Content covered:
AS 91068 - Undertake development of design ideas through graphics practice (6 credits). Students create their specific design in SketchUp and present their work on Google Slides.
AS 91069 - Promote an organised body of design work to an audience using visual communication techniques (4 credits). Students create a design of a product and create digital content to market their product.
US18734 - Create a web page using a template (2 credits). Students will use Google Sites.
